The agent z Art Contest has been formally announced with the release of the Splatoon Animation, Beach Episode. This contest is being held to celebrate the agent z YouTube channel reaching 10,000 subscribers. Is it to be held inside a limited-time Discord Server, where votes for art in the contest will be decided by fans.

You do not need to be in the Discord server to participate, as results will be posted to YouTube and other social medias afterwards. The Discord server will be available for a limited time and will be archived once the contest officially ends.
Guidelines to Participate
ANYONE may participate, whether you’re subscribed or not! For your art submission to be valid though, your piece must follow these guidelines:
- Art must feature the original characters Agent Z OR Agent X in a reasonable capacity. It can’t look like they were added last second for the sake of the contest; You can feature your own or other characters too.
- Art must be owned by, and hence made by mostly you. No edits from existing artwork if you did not make them or images made by Artificial Intelligence.
- No NSFW/innappropiate art submissions or art submissions with political or controversial topics. BONUS: If your art piece features a reference of sorts to an animation on the agent z YouTube channel, you get +2 points from me for Round 1;
All software styles are allowed, whether its a digital drawing, drawing on paper, Garry’s Mod, Source Filmmaker, Blender, anything!

How to Submit Artwork
You can submit your artwork any way you like, as long as I’m able to see it and you make it clear its for the contest. Imgur via a link, Twitter, Discord, Bluesky, etc. If it is not through Discord, please @ me to ensure I see your contest submission.
Please include the following in your submission:
- Title: (your artwork’s title)
- Social: (ONE social that defines the “author” of your art, e.g, “by @…”. If none is given, the account used to submit the artwork will be used.) These details will be present during voting rounds.

Note: Due to currency differences, I will do my best to send the amount as close as possible to the USD values. This may result in you receiving slightly more than intended.
If you want a non-Splatoon Original Character to represent you, please let me know immediately and I’ll get into talks with you if it’s possible (I’m limited to Garry’s Mod!)
DISCLAIMERS!!
By submitting artwork, you acknowledge that you are participating in a CONTEST, where your artwork will be put against others for people to see and make votes on. You may still face disappointment in results or unexpected reception for your art pieces. With that in mind, please avoid starting personal drama or complaining publicly in these regards. All submissions will also be posted to YouTube and other agent z Social Medias when announcing the formal end to the contest. I am new to doing this, so please be patient with me if things get shaky!
To receive your prizes, you must have one of the following relative to the prize you want:
- A Steam account
- A Nintendo account, where you must be willing to provide your account’s location/region details because Nintendo eShop gift cards are region locked.
- A Discord account
The deadline is currently July 20th, but is currently under review to be cut sooner.
